Victory, UAW Style

Now we know:  JCI is "contracting" the Southview plant to Plastech, and hundreds of our friends and neighbors with it.

Maybe this is why the UAW has never made it to JCI in Holland or Zeeland.

Want the UAW to protect your job and your pay?  Here's the big lie:

Plastech, like JCI, signed a neutrality agreement with the UAW.  Maybe the Plastech agreement dispenses with elections altogether, and allows organizing by card check.  Maybe Plastech will not require the UAW to work through hard-to-organize plants in the South before coming to West Michigan.

At any rate, most Plastech employees are UAW members -- yet we all know that Plastech is a company of questionable quality with pay rates much lower than JCI and other Tier I suppliers.

Just one more way the UAW has failed JCI employees in Holland and Zeeland.
